Fifty years ago, a group of South Side students threw the city's very first public lesbian + gay dance party. This Pride, Red Bull + Party Noire have joined forces to bring the Pride celebration back to the South Side of Chicago for our own prideFULLy queer dance [+ FIRST AGES 18+!] party inspired by the very first.

On June 27th in Chicago, Red Bull Presents: Renaissance One honors this tradition of radical space-making with a South Side dance party at The Promontory at 8pm ft. Bbymutha, TT the Artist, Kidd Kenn + Blu Bone + DJ sets by DJ Rae Chardonnay, hij0pr0dig0 + Professor-Wrecks. Come + rejoice in our very Black + very Queer history + selves!

To commemorate the exciting event, Red Bull Music will also produce limited edition merchandise with Chicago streetwear brand High End Junkie, whose celebrity clientele includes Teyana Taylor, Iman Shumpert, Nick Cannon and more. The collaborative merch will be available exclusively at the venue once doors open for a limited time. Renaissance One will also feature visual identity and production from Chicago’s queer collective, VAM and celebrate the iconic styles of disco and soul modernized for a new audience. The event will be indoor and outdoor.
